Employees foil an attempted armed robbery Tuesday morning in Northeast Oklahoma City.

Police say around 1:00 a.m. a man with a gun tried to rob Head Honcho’s, a hair salon, near NE 36th and Lottie.

Two employees inside fought back, disarming the suspect and holding him until police arrived.

Officers say they found the suspect’s gun inside the store.

Police are still investigating the incident.
