Two men in custody after shots were fired in SW Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma City police responded to a called of someone hearing gun shots outside their home.

Just after midnight several callers reported the shots fired near SW 38th and Shields.

Officers posted up nearby also heard the gunfire when they arrived on scene, they saw two men running away on foot.

Officers were able to take one of the suspects into custody not far from where the shots were fired.

Police were able to find the second suspect thanks to several sightings from neighbors.

Authorities also had to call out the K-9 unit in order to find the gun used in the shooting.

No one was reported hurt, but a pickup truck outside the scene was damaged after being shot several times.

Authorities are still investigating.
