Looks like today will be a gloomy day.

Highs will be much cooler this afternoon as a front stalls out resulting in temps in the 30s and 40s.

Light precip is possible for central and eastern Oklahoma.

Most of the precip will fall as a cold rain south of I-40 and fall as light freezing rain/sleet/snow north of I-40.

OKC could see a light wintry mix, however, mainly drizzle is expected.

Accumulations will be limited statewide with the exception of northeastern OK.

Our next system approaches the state Thursday night.

Rain is likely Friday morning through the afternoon.

Right now it looks like a half an inch to an inch of rain will be possible.

We dry out and warm up for the weekend with highs in the 50s and a few 60s.

A front will drop temps next Monday.
