BLANCHARD, Okla. – Officials are investigating to find out how an elderly woman died after her body was found in a car outside in the cold overnight.

Authorities found the body of 89-year-old Doris Fore about an hour after she was reported missing from the Senior Village nursing home Friday morning.

Crews said they were preparing to issue a “Silver Alert” at about 5 a.m. when they found her in a van outside the nursing home.

She was reported missing from the Blanchard nursing home just before 4 a.m.

Officials have not yet confirmed if the woman died from being in the frigid temperatures overnight.

They said no foul play is expected at this time.
