We’re looking at a much warmer day to end the work week as temperatures head to the lower 40s in OKC with upper 40s to near 50 in western and northwestern Oklahoma.

Expect lots of sunshine today through the weekend.

Temperatures will warm even more tomorrow and Sunday as highs reach the 50s and even the 60s out in western Oklahoma with wind speeds around 10-20 mph.

Another shot of arctic air will move into the state next Monday sending our highs back to the 20s.

Fire danger will remain high through the week.
