LAWTON, Okla. – While the City of Lawton is still reeling after a man and his 13-year-old son were found murdered in their home, authorities say they have made an arrest that has shocked the town.

On Jan. 20, 2013, authorities found the bodies of a 49-year-old Uwe Rushing and his 13-year-old son, Stefan Rushing.

Officials say they appeared to have been shot to death.

The victim’s 18-year-old son, Thorsten Rushing, told investigators he was watching television with his little brother when two men wearing masks broke into the house.

He claimed the men shot at his family as he ran to get a shotgun.

Rushing told officers he shot back at them but they got away.

Now, authorities with the Lawton Police Department say he has been arrested for the murders.

Officials say they have also arrested four other teens in connection to the crime.

Lawon police say 19-year-old Ethan Thompson, 19-year-old Cody Davis, 18-year-old Timothy Delahoy and 17-year-old Wesley Bankston are all facing charges related to the two murders.
