OKLAHOMA CITY – As Oklahomans across the state are battling cold temperatures, fire crews in Oklahoma City are battling a small house fire that started in the kitchen of a home.

Authorities were called to the 2100 block of S.W. 70th St. shortly after 8:30 p.m. Monday after residents say a fire in the kitchen got out-of-control.

When firefighters arrived on the scene, they saw flames coming from the entrance of the home.

Fortunately, everyone was able to make it out safely.
