Sooners and Cowboys Drop in Polls, OSU Women Stay #12

Both the Oklahoma and Oklahoma State men’s basketball teams dropped out of the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll released Monday.

The Cowboys dropped out of both the AP and coaches polls after losing their third and fourth straight games last week, losing at home to Iowa State and on the road against Texas Tech.

OSU had been 19th in both polls a week ago.

The Sooners dropped out of the AP poll after being ranked 21st last week.

In the coaches poll, OU dropped from 23rd to #25.

OU lost at West Virginia on Wednesday, but beat Baylor Saturday in Norman.

In the AP women’s poll, Oklahoma State remained 12th after splitting two games.

The Cowgirls beat Kansas on Wednesday, then lost at Baylor Sunday.
