UPDATED: 2/12/14 The City of Tecumseh has lifted the precautionary boil advisory.

A main water line break in Tecumseh is forcing officials to put a precautionary water boil in place.

It is advised that if your water comes from the City of Tecumseh water system you boil it for a full minute before drinking, cooking, dish washing, tooth brushing, would care and bathing infants who may ingest bath water.

If you have questions about the boil advisory you should contact the Utility Office at City Hall at 405-598-2188.

This advisory will remain in effect until further notice.  Questions concerning this situation should be addressed to City Hall Utility Office, or Jimmy Stokes, City Manager at 405-598-2188.
