FAIRLAND, Okla. – Authorities are trying to find information about a man whose body was recently found near a highway.

A land surveyor stumbled upon a body in a tributary of the Neosho River, near Hwy 60, on Dec. 31.

The medical examiner’s office was able to identify the man as 27-year-old Andrew Joel Olsen.

While the medical examiner was not able to determine when he died, Olsen’s death is being investigated as suspicious.

So far, agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation have not found anyone who saw Olsen after Nov. 7, 2013.

The OSBI is asking anyone who saw or spoke with Olsen after that date to come forward.

If you have any information about his death or disappearance, call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.
