Construction set to begin Thursday on 33rd to Bryant Rd.

EDMOND – Work to resurface a one mile section of 33rd Street is scheduled to begin Thursday, February 27th. 

The project is expected to take approximately two to three weeks to complete with cooperative weather.

The area of 33rd Street to be resurfaced is from Boulevard Street to Bryant Road.  The road will remain open during this time, but motorists should expect intermittent lane closures.

This resurfacing is part of the scheduled 2013-14 Mill & Overlay projects for the City of Edmond.  Atlas Paving is the contractor for the project at an overall cost of $1,694,588.

Drivers are asked to allow more time if traveling on these roads.
