Kendrick Perkins will miss Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Perkins hurt his groin against the Heat on Thursday.

Thunder head coach Scott Brooks said that an MRI revealed a strain, but he wouldn’t elaborate on how many games Perkins will miss.

Brooks said that rookie Steven Adams may start, but that isn’t set in stone yet.

Adams made his first career start earlier this season against the Clippers on the road.

Tip at the Peake is set for noon.
