Meeker residents mourn the death of young man

MEEKER, Okla. -Residents in meeker are mourning the loss of a neighbor.

They say a man they've known since childhood has been found dead, but police in the tiny Lincoln County town are releasing very few details.

Neighbors say Nathan Karahrah lived in the heart of Meeker with his family in a home that is now a crime scene under investigation.

Terry Bryce a Meeker resident  says she has known Nathan since he was a boy and says this is a tragic loss for Meeker "this is really gonna affect the whole community."

Police refuse to give up any information on the boys death but residents here say they heard the boy died after being shot early Sunday morning.

Nathan's two brothers created a memorial Facebook page stating their brother has passed away.

Bryce says meeker is a strong community and will rally around the family. "my heart and prayer goes out to the family."

Again, Meeker Police are not disclosing any information about this fatality.

However, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department confirmed there was a shooting in Meeker at 12:20 a.m.
