Suspect on loose after chase ends with fiery crash into Oklahoma City home

OKLAHOMA CITY – Police are searching for a suspect on the run after a chase in a stolen car ended in a fiery crash overnight.

Officials said a Nichols Hills police officer noticed people inside a car parked near northwest 63rd St. ducked down when he looked in their direction.

When the officer pulled up behind the car the driver sped off leading police on a short chase.

The chase ended with the car plowing through a fence and slamming into a house near N.W. 44th and Villa in Oklahoma City.

The car caught fire and two men inside the car ran.

Fire crews put out the fire before it spread to the house where a woman was sleeping inside.

She was not injured.

Officials caught one of the suspects but the other is still at large.
