OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Thunder's newest player, Caron Butler, practiced with the team for the first time since officially signing with the organization today.

Thunder head coach Scott Brooks said, Butler will play against the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday.

Brooks was not sure on how many minutes the 12-year veteran will play or if he will start  the game.

After signing with the Thunder, Butler has been traded two times and played for four different teams over the last year.

Butler said he can play both forward positions and even some shooting guard for the Thunder.

The former University of Connecticut star said he already knows fellow Huskies and new teammates Hasheem Thabeet and Jeremy Lamb.
