Event helping bring hope, joy to Oklahoma children with life-threatening illnesses

OKLAHOMA CITY – An event today is helping to bring a bit of hope and joy to Oklahoma children with life-threatening illnesses.

Residents, businesses and groups across the state are raising money for the Make-A-Wish foundation at the If Purses Were Wishes lunch.

The 7th Annual Make-A-Wish luncheon at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club starts at 10:30 a.m.

Shannon Presti, mother of the OKC Thunder’s Sam Presti, is hosting the event with NewsChannel 4’s own Ashton Edwards as the emcee.
