UPDATE: Stuck car backs up traffic, semi jackknifes in NW Oklahoma City; all clear now

OKLAHOMA CITY – Streets and part of the highway are closed in northwest Oklahoma City after a chain reaction of unfortunate events Tuesday morning.

Officials are asking drivers to avoid the Northwest Expressway exit from Hefner Parkway southbound and part of 63rd St.

Authorities said a car got stuck in the road causing traffic to back up at about 9 a.m.

Then a semi jackknifed on the southbound Hefner Parkway exit onto Northwest Expressway.

Crews have closed the ramp and part of N.W. 63rd St.

The semi is carrying a load of large pipes.

So far, no serious injuries have been reported.
