The Oklahoma women's basketball team last won the Big 12 tournament in 2007 in Oklahoma City, and hope to match that same success in the 2014 edition inside Chesapeake Arena.

Sherri Coale's club comes into the Big 12 tournament as the sixth seed and will play third seeded Texas on Saturday, March 8, at 8:30 p.m. CT.

OU last played as the conference's six seed in 2004 and won the tournament.

The '04 Sooners are still the only team in the tournament's history to win the tournament as a four seed or lower.

Oklahoma is 1-1 versus Texas this season with both games being decided by five points or less.

If OU is victorious versus UT the win will give head coach Sherri Coale her 400th win with the program.

Here's Coale and Sooner seniors Aaryn Ellenberg and Morgan Hook previewing the tournament in their backyard.
