3.2 magnitude tremor hits near Choctaw

CHOCTAW, Okla. –  Another earthquake rattled our state Saturday.

Residents near the Choctaw area have reported “feeling their house shake.”

According to the Oklahoma Geological Survey, the quake hit just after 6:00 p.m., 1.5 miles east of Choctaw.

The 3.2-magnitude quake was a little more than 3 miles deep.

This is the latest earthquake in a recent swarm over the last several weeks.
