Sooner Men Clinch Two Seed With TCU Blowout

The Oklahoma men’s basketball team locked up the two seed in the upcoming Big 12 men’s basketball tournament with a 97-67 win over TCU.

After dropping their regular season finale last year at TCU, the Sooners had four starters score in double figures in this year’s 30 point win over the Horned Frogs.

Buddy Hield led the Sooners with a game-high 24 points, pulled down eight rebounds and had four assists.

Cameron Clark and Isaiah Cousins each added 18 points a piece for OU.

Lon Kruger’s club will get a bye in the first round of the Big 12 tournament, and play the winner of TCU-Baylor game┬ánext Thursday, March 13, at 6:00 p.m. CT.
