UPDATE: Crews bring large SW OKC grass fire under control

UPDATE 4:35 p.m. - Officials are reporting that the fire has been contained.

To be safe, they are still working on hot spots to help make sure another fire does not break out.

UPDATE 4:10 p.m. - Crews are still battling the fire that has consumed another small shed that was storing hay bales.

Nearby residents are evacuating their homes, as well as preparing to transport their horses to safer locations.

OKLAHOMA CITY - Crews are on the scene after a large grass fire broke out near SW 59th and Mustang Road.

Large flames can be seen from Bob Moore Chopper 4.

One out building is on fire, crews working to keep it contained.

Central Oklahoma is under a red flag warning, fire danger is high.
