OKLAHOMA CITY -- He's one of the most memorable characters in the movie "Forrest Gump."

Lieutenant Dan is in town for a series of events benefiting wounded warriors.

Actor, Gary Sinise, is raising money for real-life amputee Rusty Dunagan.

Dunagan is a triple amputee who lost both legs and an arm when he was injured in Afghanistan in 2010.

The Gary Sinise Foundation is hosting two days of events to raise money for Dunagan and his family.

- Monday, March 10: Sinise is attending a special screening of "Forrest Gump" at the Harkins Theater in Bricktown.
Show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets on sale a box office starting at 6 p.m.

- Tuesday, March 11: Sinise hosts the Inspiration For Action gala at the Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum to raise money for the Dunagan family.
