Semi truck wrecked and is leaking fuel on the interstate

OKLAHOMA CITY – A semi was involved in a wreck near Amarillo junction in Oklahoma City.

Officials are reporting that the driver made it out of the semi safely.

According to the Oklahoma City Fire Department, one of the saddle tanks appears to be punctured and leaking.

Approximately 10 gallons of fuel may have spilled and some of the gas leaked into a nearby storm drain.

Officials are also reporting that traffic is backed up a couple of miles as they have a few lines closed off as they clear the wreck.
