Two school buses involved in separate wrecks across Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY – Police and fire crews were called to a pair of accidents involving a school buses in Oklahoma City on Friday afternoon.

Shortly after 3:40 p.m. Friday, authorities were called to the area of N.W. 23rd St. and Meridian Ave. after a school bus was involved in a wreck.

According to initial reports, there were children on board at the time.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Just minutes after that, another accident involving a school bus was reported near I-40 and Sooner Rd.

In that accident, officials say the bus was empty, except for the driver.

However, two children in the other vehicle were injured in the crash.

Officials say the girls were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
