UPDATE: OKC emergency crews free car accident victims trapped in wreckage, road blocked

SPENCER, Okla. – Authorities in Spencer have just freed two people who were trapped inside a vehicle.

Shortly after 4 p.m., officers and emergency crews were called to Spencer Jones and Post Rd. on an accident.

A silver car left the pavement and hit a tree along the side of the road.

Initial reports said one person inside the car was unconscious while the other was awake but unable to get out of the wreckage.

Oklahoma City was forced to call another unit to the scene to help with the extraction.

At this time, there is no word on the victims’ conditions.

However, both victims are being taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Emergency crews have blocked Spencer Jones Rd. to clear the scene.
