OKC fire department working to put out a barn fire in southwest OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY – Emergency crews are responding to a structure fire in southwest Oklahoma City near SW 74th and Council road.

The OKC Fire Department is working on putting out a fire in a barn.

Initial reports say there are a large amount of tires stored in this barn and possibly oxygen and acetylene bottles inside of the structure.

Fire crews have backed away a safe distance from the fire.

Reports say the fire department is going defensive on this fire.
