*** RED FLAG WARNINGS are in effect for most of Oklahoma through this evening. A WIND ADVISORY is in effect for western Oklahoma. ***

Fire danger will be extremely high today as high winds combine with low relative humidity values.

Should a fire spark, it will rapidly spread.

Fire crews will face the added challenge of a wind shift due to a cold front moving through the state.

The front will also create cooler temps to the north and milder temps south.

Aside from high wind and low humidity, temperatures will soar to the 70s for much of the state with 60s in northwestern Oklahoma.

As a result of the front, temps will be much cooler with highs in the 50s and 60s.

A storm system will move in this weekend creating cooler temps and bringing a slight chance for showers.
