Temperatures will cool off in to the 30s and 40s overnight with clear skies and light winds.

The fan switches back “on” Thursday and this time winds will pick up out of the south-southwest.

These winds will bring warmer temps in the 70s and once again elevate the fire danger.

***A FIRE WEATHER WATCH has been issued for most of western, central and northern Oklahoma.***

A cold front will move through Friday afternoon/evening bringing a big cool down for the weekend.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible along and ahead of the front late Friday through early Saturday.

Temperatures will only warm to the 50s for highs over the weekend with small rain chances, mainly for southern and eastern Oklahoma.

Temps should stay below normal through the first part of next week. Stay tuned for the latest!
