Nationwide relay making its way to OKC

A coast-to-coast relay run to benefit victims of the Boston Marathon bombings is coming through Oklahoma City.

Runners with One Run for Boston relay will be running the Oklahoma stage of the journey from March 28th through March 31st.

Runners completed the first stage of the relay Thursday when they made a stop in Phoneix.

The “One Run For Boston” non-stop relay started in Santa Monica, California on Sunday, March, 16.

The organization is hoping to raise one million dollars for the survivors and families of last year’s bombings.

So far the group has raised more than a quarter-million dollars.
