JUDGE: Man accused of killing four family members will not go to trial

OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma County judge has ruled that a man accused of killing four family members will not stand trial.

Prosecutors say 40-year-old Daniel Green faces four counts of first-degree murder.

He is accused of shooting his mother, sister, niece and her 7-month-old son last August.

Judge Glenn Jones says Green’s psychological examination revealed he is unable to help his attorney prepare a defense in the case.

The district attorney says Green has been diagnosed with schizophrenia.

According to orders, Green will now be taken to the Oklahoma Forensic Center for treatment and medication.
