MILWAUKEE – A man is now facing serious charges for his fifth DUI after hit-and-run accidents Tuesday night.

Milwaukee authorities told WITI they arrested 45-year-old Mark Strong after a driver called 911 about a hit-and-run accident and said Strong had also side-swiped a car on the highway.

WITI reported police said they found an open can of beer in Strong’s cup holder when they pulled him over.

Officials said he tested .12 on the preliminary breath test.

This is Strong’s fifth drunk driving offense, according to WITI.

He has four prior convictions in June 2001, July 2001, December 2002 and May 2011.

He is facing DUI charges as well as other traffic and alcohol violations.

Strong could see up to eight years in prison if convicted.
