A Baptist preacher in Arizona is raising some eyebrows.

Pastor Steven Anderson said he doesn’t want women to speak up at his church as long as the men are talking and trying to make them learn.

He said women should sing with the rest of the congregation but “when it’s learning time, it’s silence time. When the learning is going on, they are not permitted to speak.”

He quotes specific scripture for his source.

Is he just preaching from the Bible or is he way off base?
