OKLAHOMA CITY -- Governor Mary Fallin is hosting a summit with hundreds of business leaders and education professionals to talk about preparing the American workforce.

Thursday, leaders from more than thirty states are in Oklahoma City to talk with Fallin about education initiatives to better prepare American students to work.

Fallin is the sitting chair of the National Governors Association. She is the first governor from Oklahoma to be NGA chair and the first female Republican governor to be NGA chair.

The National Governors Association is the bipartisan organization of the nation’s governors.

Governors will meet throughout the day Thursday, March 27, at the Devon Tower.
