OKLAHOMA COUNTY– Fire crews responded just after 3:00 p.m. to a large grass fire just off SE 74th and Pottawatomie Rd. near Harrah.

When crews arrived on scene they reported seeing flames shooting from the tops of trees.

Emergency crews wheeled an elderly woman from a structure near the fire.

No word on the woman’s condition.

Oklahoma City fire crews are on scene working to keep the fire from spreading to nearby homes.

As soon as a Oklahoma City brush pumper arrived they quickly sprayed a nearby 16 ft. utility trailer that is loaded with lumber.

Crews are struggling with low water supply due it being a rural area, away from fire hydrants.

LINCOLN COUNTY, Okla. – Crews from Lincoln county are battling a large grass fire near Interstate 177 and U.S. Highway 62 near Meeker.

Officials have closed off the north-bound lane of Interstate 177 near the area.

We are told one brush pumper is stuck in the middle of the field.
