After crews arrived to the scene, they were able to knock out the fire quickly.

Crews are still on scene checking hot-spots.

EDMOND, Okla. – Fire crews are responding to a fire in Edmond, Okla. after a caller reported “a blaze is getting out of control and is approaching structures.”

Crews were called just after 11:40 a.m. in the Edmond area off N. Pennsylvania Avenue near Coffee Creed Rd.

Deer creek and Oak Cliff fire departments are heading to the area.

Oklahoma County deputies are on scene directing traffic.

NewsChannel 4 has sent a crew to the scene.
