Showers and storms will track into eastern Oklahoma this afternoon.

Temperatures will continue to stay above normal around 80 degrees.

Fire danger will be very high today as skies clear and humidities drop.


SEVERE WEATHER will be possible in our state sometime Tuesday through Thursday. 

Storm chances are low Tuesday because of the strong cap but a few isolated severe storms will be possible over southwestern Oklahoma.

Our risk for severe weather will go up Wednesday. 

A few supercells may develop near the dryline over central Oklahoma.

Very large hail, damaging winds and an isolated tornado will be possible during the afternoon and evening hours.

Models have pushed most of the severe weather into eastern Oklahoma Thursday.
