OKLAHOMA CITY – After thousands flooded the State Capitol for education, another day of rallying expected.

The subject this time? Marriage equality.

This afternoon supporters of gay marriage will gather at the Capitol announcing public support for the freedom to marry in our state, the group is called Freedom Oklahoma.

This comes after the U.S. District Court struck down Oklahoma’s ban on same-sex marriage at the beginning of the year.

That decision was stayed as the decision is now headed to the U.S. Court of Appeals.

That case is expected to be heard on April 17.

Today’s marriage equality rally will get underway at 1 p.m.
