OKLAHOMA CITY – Interested in becoming an educator? A local school district is looking for those interested in teaching.

Putnam City Schools are hosting a ‘Teacher Job Fair’ from 2 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, at the district’s administration building, 5401 N.W. 40th.

Teachers who attend the job fair will get what they want and need the most: a job interview.

To make sure prospective teachers have an interview at a time that works best for them that day, the district has created an online interview scheduler.

However, people who wish to come without having an interview set up in advance will still have the chance to interview with school or district administrators.

Grace says there is more to the job fair than job interviews.

The job fair will also include meet-and-greet areas in which prospective teachers can talk informally with administrators, teachers and other school and district personnel.

Information about mentoring, training, expert assistance for new teachers, salaries and benefits and other information will also be readily available at the job fair.
