Former Oklahoma quarterback Blake Bell sprained his knee which will force him to miss the rest of spring practice, including next Saturday's Red/White Game.

Bell isn't expected to need surgery for his injury and should be ready to go for summer and fall practices.

The Kansas native made the move to tight end this spring after the emergence of Trevor Knight and is fighting for a starting job at his new position.
