Company receives negative comments about ad campaign, comes up with amazing response

When it comes to snacks, you probably don’t think about controversy.

However, a recent ad campaign by Nabisco’s Honey Maid entitled “This is Wholesome” has caused some people to become angry about its message.

The ad features mixed race families and a gay couple caring for a child.

In its description, it states, “No matter how things change, what makes us wholesome never will.”

Organizers say they wanted to show diversity but others are calling the ad “unwholesome,” saying some of the families involved are “disgusting.”

In response to the negative comments, Honey Maid came up with a response.

Instead of hashing out differences, supporters say the company’s message was simple and sweet, much like the snacks themselves.

The video starts by saying “On March 10th, 2014, Honey Maid launched ‘This is wholesome,’ a commercial that celebrates all families. Some people didn’t agree with our message.”

The company says they received a lot of comments, good and bad, and decided to do something with each and every one of them.
