YUKON, Okla. – Three communities are gathering together to celebrate the Easter holiday.

Discovery Church of Yukon, is hosting its’ 19th annual Great Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19th at Yukon High School, located at 1777 S. Yukon Parkway in Yukon. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., followed by a brief stage presentation.

The hunt kicks off at 10:00 a.m., on the practice football field, south of the stadium.
It is the largest Easter egg hunt in the area benefiting the communities of Yukon, Mustang, Piedmont and surrounded areas.

The “Great Egg Hunt” also features 30,000 eggs and six gigantic hunt areas broken into age specific groups. Each will be clearly marked and identified for ease and safety.

Discovery Church will also give away many prizes including, 12 large Easter baskets, 6 bicycles, 4 Radio Flyer wagons, 2 iPod Touches, and several other prizes. There will be lots to do for both kids and parents during the event. Participants can enjoy 8 giant inflatable games, face painting, costumed characters and FREE hotdogs for everyone!

This community outreach event, sponsored by Discovery Church of Yukon, is FREE to the entire community and surrounding areas.
