Oklahoma sophomore guard Je’lon Hornbeak has decided to transfer to another program.

After starting 29 of 32 games in his freshman season, Hornbeak came off the bench in all 29 games this past season.

The Arlington native averaged just over five points a game during 61 games in his two seasons as a Sooner.

“I met with Coach Kruger and he was understanding of my desire for a fresh start,” Hornbeak said in an OU release.

Lon Kruger says he will look to add an additional player this spring for the upcoming 2014 season.

OU returns four starters from last year’s team and Hornbeak makes the third player the program will lose from last year.
