Earthquakes shake awake Edmond, Langston residents

EDMOND, Okla. – The U.S. Geological Survey has confirmed a couple of earthquakes in the Edmond area early Tuesday morning.

Officials said a magnitude 3.3 quake was reported about six miles southeast of Edmond just before 5 a.m.

A smaller tremor was confirmed earlier about three miles south of Langston; it measured a magnitude of 3.1.

No serious damage was reported.
