Organization updating public on funds raised during last May’s tornadoes

OKLAHOMA CITY – A local organization is updating the public on money raised in connection with last May’s tornadoes.

On Wednesday, April 23, United Way of Central Oklahoma will provide an updated report in conjunction with Oklahoma’s Governor Mary Fallin, on the money raised and spent for the United Way’s May Tornadoes Relief Fund and the Oklahoma Strong Fund.

Joining Governor Fallin at the event will be United Way of Central Oklahoma’s Board Chairman David Thompson, President & CEO Debby Hampton and United Way’s Fund Disbursement Co-Chair Dave Shroeder.

The event will be held tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. in the Blue Room of the Oklahoma State Capitol.
