Woman arrested for DUI after driving down railroad tracks in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities have arrested a woman after an alleged drunk-driving accident that damaged some railroad tracks.

Police said just after midnight a woman tried to make a turn near S.W. 44th St. and Newcastle Rd. and ended up driving down a set of railroad tracks.

Officers said the woman had been drinking and refused to cooperate.

Crews had to tow the car off the tracks and alerted the railroad about the damage.

No one was seriously injured.

Officials have not confirmed the woman’s identity.
