UPDATED: Metro school bus ticketed after motorcycle accident in N.W. OKC

UPDATE 4:55 p.m. –  Authorities say the student and driver on the bus were not injured during the accident.

Police say they ticketed the bus driver for failure to yield to oncoming traffic.

Witnesses say the motorcyclist looked pretty banged up and was transported to OU Medical.

UPDATE 4:35 p.m. – Officials have cleared the scene of the accident that involved a metro school bus and a motorcycle driver.

Emergency crews called a local towing company in order to remove the motorcycle from under the bus.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities rushed to an accident involving a school bus on the N.W side of the city Wednesday afternoon.

This happened on N.W 34th and Pennsylvania Avenue.

When emergency crews arrived on scene they found that the accident involved a school bus and a motorcyclist.

One student was on board the bus during the accident.

The driver of the motorcycle has been transported to OU Medical Center.

Officials have not released the condition of the motorcyclist.
