Good news for coffee lovers!

New research shows drinking a cup of coffee may do more than just kick start your morning.

According to researchers at Harvard Medical School, drinking coffee could decrease your risk for type two diabetes.

Researchers studied the coffee drinking habits of more than 100,000 people over a four year period.

They found people participants who drank an additional cup of coffee each day had a slightly lower risk for type 2 diabetes.

Experts say they are still working on figuring out why coffee affects type two diabetes.

Outside experts say the results only applied to caffeinated coffee, and that more studies are needed.
