LUFKIN, Texas (KETK) – Two men are facing charges after they allegedly attempted to steal from a local business by hiding things in their pants.

According to the Lufkin Police Department, a Brookshire Brothers manager told officers 42-year-old John House had allegedly stolen steaks and hid them in his pants.

When a supervisor asked for the meat to be given back, House allegedly shoved the food at an employee, pushed the manager and ran for the parking lot.

House was caught and allegedly told the manager, “I’m gonna [blank] slap your [blank].”

He slapped him in the face and started advancing on him but was stopped when he was punched in the chest.

During that time, 45-year-old Emmitt Burney was caught also running from the store.

Officers also allegedly found two packages of steaks in his pants.

The stolen steak was valued at around $80.
