OKLAHOMA CITY – Teachers and educators across Oklahoma gathered in Oklahoma City for the Oklahoma Education Association’s (OEA) Annual delegate summit.

They share ideas about education and use this gathering for a chance to inspire each other.

President of OEA Linda Hampton said, “This is a meeting where we conduct the business of the association, but also we honor those who have done outstanding jobs in promoting the public education and our profession.”

The OEA took time out to recognize students, teachers, writers and broadcasters for their work to enlighten the public about the importance of good education.

NewsChannel 4’s Meg Alexander and Justin Kracht were honored with a Marshall Gregory Award of Excellence for their series of reports called “What’s Right With Our Schools.”

Kudos to all teachers and educators for their hard work teaching and motivating our children.
