Three injured after plane crashes down

NOWATA COUNTY, Okla. – According to KJRH, police have confirmed a small plane crashed Sunday afternoon in Nowata County.

Officials say the plane went down at Rd. 406 and County Rd. 5, northwest of Nowata, around 1:30 p.m.

Officials say the plane is a single engine Beechcraft BE-36.

The plane was traveling to Claremore Regional Airport, when the pilot reported engine trouble.

Three men were on board the plane during the crash and suffered injuries.

The three were transported to Coffeyville Regional Hospital, two were flown to St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa for further treatment on their injuries.
